The Filipino American Society of Architects and Engineers, Southern California Chapter (FASAE SoCal), in association with the FASAE SoCal Education Founda ion, is seeking applicants to their annual scholarship program for 2019. This scholarship program is to provide educational assistance to qualified and underprivileged students of the
Southern California Filipino American community pursuing a degree in architecture, engineering, computer science and other related disciplines.
Scholarships are awarded on a yearly basis. This year, one recipient will be awarded the Isidoro Alimento Scholarship with a one-time cash award of $1,000 and one runner-up with a one-time cash award of $500.

The scholarship is open to applicants 1) who are of Filipino heritage, 2) must be at least in their sophomore year working towards a bachelor’s degree in the listed fields, 3) who have a GPA of 2.5 or better, and 4) must be ull-time students enrolled in the designated schools. The designated schools are: UCLA, UCI, UC Riverside, UC San Diego, USC, CSU (Long
Beach, Los Angeles, Northridge, Dominguez Hills, Fullerton, Pomona, San Bernardino and San Diego), DeVry University and Woodbury University.
Applicants are required to submit an application package on or before July 5, 2019.
