San Bruno, CA, October 2018 – Share+Give Initiative, a non-profit with focus on breast and ovarian cancer is launching the “United Against Cancer 2019 Swimwear Calendar”for its annualfundraiser and awareness drive.The event will be held at the Burlingame Masonic Hall at 145 Park Road in Burlingame on December 1, 2018 starting at 5PM.
The calendar features breast and ovarian cancer survivors, models and advocates from Mexico, Puerto Rico, Colombia, Japan, USA and the Philippines.Featured fashion designers areColleen Quen (a breast cancer survivor), Renee Gee, HaydéeQuesedo Castillo, Rolando Carlin and Gia Galicia.The swim wear models are advocates, and cancer survivors themselves.
Filipino American songbird, Maddie B, and breast cancer survivor Annette Velasco are featured entertainers. To host the event are Miss Asian Global 2017 Trisha Bantigue, and RadiCalalang, SF Kalayaan Chair. 100% of the calendar proceeds benefits breast and ovarian cancer foundations including the Pilipino Senior Resource Center Breast Cancer Support Services Program. Share+Give Initiative is a non-profit company founded in 2017 by fashion designer Gia Galicia-Carrascoso. Galicia-Carrascoso produces fashion shows and other projects to help organizations raise funds for breast and ovarian cancer patients, children in foster care, andmedical mission outreach.
